We made Honningbrew Mead by (mostly) following the instructions from the Elder Scrolls Cookbook.
Sure, we wouldn’t be us if we did things literally “by the book” but we stayed as true to the instructions as Bri was comfortable with. Make sure to get your copy of the Official Elder Scrolls Cookbook as it has tons of fun recipes that I’m sure you will enjoy making.
Here is how we brewed up our own batch of Honningbrew Mead.
Ingredients
3 pounds (1.36 kg) Honey (we used Drapers NE Honey, don’t be confused by Bevy’s Bees label as we repurposed one of her jars)
2 Apples roughly chopped
2 inches (5 cm) Ginger Peeled and thinly sliced
2 Tablespoons Lavender (steeped in water to make a tea): https://amzn.to/3gaRtuS
1.5 grams Fermaid O: https://amzn.to/3TmRfPC
1 Packet Safale S04 Yeast: https://amzn.to/3TqLj8h
Back sweeten if you choose (we sweetened to a 1.008 specific gravity)
