No, not mulled wine, but rather spiced wine. This is our take on a Pumpkin Spice wine without the pumpkin. Did you know that many of the “pumpkin spice” merchandise doesn’t actually include pumpkin in their ingredient lists? This little bit of information made my pumpkin disliking husband, aka Bri, very happy. Thus, I convinced him to brew up some Pumpkin-less Spiced Wine.
Mulled Wine, sometimes referred to as Spiced Wine, is wine, most often of a red variety, infused with various fruits and spices then served warm. This traditional European drink is quite popular around the holidays. There are a multitude of spice and fruit combinations when it comes to mulled wine.
Our Spiced Wine is different as we start with neutral fruit flavors that bring the spices to the forefront. In our concoction, the spices are the main player, not simply an addition.
